Any long vegetables without much hard fiber skin can be cut to small pieces in one go. Pick up 2 or 3 vegetables keep in the gap, i.e. between blades and upper curved shape. Remove the white lock and fold it down. Just press the levers and it will cut the portion between the blades. After cutting, just push the vegetables further inside. Careful not to operate very fast to avoid cutting your own finger.
